No words can describe how much of a favourite these are in my family and they are not only delicious but really, really easy too. When my daughter takes them to school in a bento box, she encounters swarming hands, all wanting a share. Now I have to send her with double supplies!
Pack of 50 cocktail sausages (I use the pre-cooked variety – if you use uncooked ones, don’t worry about cooking them in advance, just increase the cooking time by 10 minutes)
1 heaped tablespoon wholegrain mustard
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1. Stir the wet ingredients together in a jug or bowl and then add the sausages, tossing until they are all coated.
2. Place in an oven proof dish just big enough for the sausages to lay flat in but no bigger and pour over any remaining marinade.
3. Cook on Gas 6, 200C for 25 minutes, stirring and re-coating half way through.
If you have excess sauce left over, chicken drumsticks are delicious coated and cooked in this marinade too!
