Please let me know if you see anything in any of my photographs on this site you’d like to be able to source – happy to share where I buy my goodies.
To be honest, a lot of it comes from eBay and Amazon but a fair amount comes from a fabulous cookery shop on the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells called Trevor Mottram.
A neighbour asked me yesterday, where I got my pans like the ones Jamie Oliver uses on 15 minute meals, like this:
I have a number of these – had them for years and hadn’t realised they had become quite such a big deal. You can pick them up occasionally on eBay but most of them are in the States so postage is pretty prohibitive. The make is Dansk Kobenstyle. Crate and Barrel sell the new versions, in red and white and I have a few in stainless steel which are beautiful that I think came from there, although they were a wedding present so I’m not entirely sure!
Jam jars with plastic lids – these are by Luminarc and I bought them from Trevor Mottram although they are also available from Amazon. They are great for larger quantities of spices etc too.
Lovely little blue pots, I think I’ve spied Rachel Khoo using them on Little Paris Kitchen for fresh herbs on the window sill. I use mine for all sorts, from nuts and sweets to pate and individual soufflés and have even filled some of them with citronella wax and a wick to use in the garden as candles to keep away creatures! They are in fact yoghurt pots by a French company called La Fermiere – they do lovely red ones at Christmas too. I buy them, filled with the most scrumptious yoghurt, from Judges Bakery in Robertsbridge (the Judges’ ladies invented Green and Blacks – the bakery is worth a trip even if you don’t want yoghurt!).
These lovely Morrocan bowls come in a variety of sizes and rich jewel colours from Sarah Raven’s Perch Hill shop but can also be bought from her online shop http://www.sarahraven.com, along with all sorts of other lovely things.
Excellent site. A lot of useful information here.
I am sending it to a few buddies ans additionally sharing in delicious.
And naturally, thanks for your effort!
