I’ve been making some gluten free cakes for a friend this week and hadn’t realised how difficult it can be to source gluten free baking powder so here’s a recipe for making your own – really, really simple!
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
1 tablespoon bicarbonate of soda
1 tablespoon corn flour
Sift the lot through a tea strainer onto a square of baking parchment then tip into an airtight container. Use in the same quantities as the usual shop bought varieties.
